Jaipur/Kota/Jhunjhunu: Candidates who appeared for the NEET retest Sunday reported that the paper was comparatively tougher than the previous examination, with Physics emerging as the most challenging section. While Biology was generally described as easy and Chemistry as moderate, many students said the Physics section was lengthy and time-consuming, leading to expectations of a lower cut-off score.Gaurav Kumar Jha from Darbhanga, Bihar, said the overall paper was tougher than the previous one. “Biology and Chemistry were easy, but Physics was tough as well as lengthy. The cut-off will probably drop if the paper was not leaked this time,” he remarked sarcastically.Sneha Kumari, also from Bihar, said Chemistry was largely manageable but included some difficult questions from Physical Chemistry. “Physics was tough, with questions based on NCERT concepts accompanied by some complicated graphs,” she said.Raushan Singh from West Bengal echoed similar views, stating that both Chemistry and Physics were difficult and lengthy. “Biology was easy, but there were complicated statement-based and lengthy questions in Physics. Since the paper was tough, the cut-off will probably drop this time,” he said.In Jaipur, after the exam, NEET aspirants shared mixed reactions to the question paper. Some students found the paper tougher than the previous exam held on May 3, especially Physics, while Chemistry and Biology were easy to moderate.Siddharth, a NEET aspirant, said that he felt relieved after appearing for the re-examination, as he believed his preparation was incomplete during the previous attempt and the fresh opportunity allowed him to perform with greater confidence.Pankaj Yadav, a NEET aspirant in Jaipur, said that the re-NEET 2026 paper was comparatively tougher than the previous examination. He added that this time he lacked the level of preparation and confidence and it did not match the intensity seen before the earlier NEET exam.Rinku Meena, who travelled from Chaksu to appear for the exam in Jaipur, said that the Physics section was relatively difficult, while Chemistry and Biology ranged from easy to moderate. According to him, the overall difficulty level of the re-NEET 2026 paper was higher than that of the previous examination.In Sikar, candidates described the paper as moderately difficult. Tanisha, who appeared at the SK School centre, said Chemistry and Biology sections were relatively easy, while Physics questions were lengthy and included several equations. Another candidate, Harshit Gulia, said the paper was comparable to the previous examination.In Jhunjhunu, most candidates described the Biology paper as easy, Chemistry as moderate, and Physics as relatively difficult. The students said that the NEET re-exam question paper was tougher than the one conducted on May 3. The Physics section posed a challenge to them.
