Jaipur: The Jaipur-based Rajasthan United FC have announced the arrival of Spanish defender Adri Castellano, who joined the Desert Warriors ahead of the 2026–27 season. Bringing with him experience from Spanish professional football and a footballing journey that began at the prestigious Real Madrid academy, Castellano arrives in Rajasthan ready to embrace a new challenge and make his mark in Indian football.Castellano’s footballing journey began at the prestigious Real Madrid academy, where he joined the youth setup in 2011 and progressed through the ranks before representing Real Madrid C. His development at one of the world’s most renowned football academies laid the foundation for a career in professional Spanish football.He later continued his journey with UD Almería B and Celta Vigo B, before gaining senior experience with clubs including Granada CF, CD Numancia, SD Ponferradina, Córdoba CF, Atlético Sanluqueño and Marbella FC. He has also made close to 100 appearances in Spain’s Segunda División, competing at a high level of professional football.Comfortable both at left-back and in central defence, Castellano adds versatility, experience and composure to Rajasthan United’s defensive unit.His arrival marks another important step in the club’s efforts to strengthen the squad with international experience as the Desert Warriors prepare for the new season.Speaking about the signing, Rajasthan United FC Chairman Krishan Kumar Tak said, “We are very pleased to welcome Adri Castellano to Rajasthan United FC.
