Alwar: A 16-year-old boy was found shot dead under Sadar police station limits in Alwar district Wednesday.The victim, Tushar Kumar, a resident of Indira Colony in Tasai village under Naugaon police station limits, went missing after leaving with friends on July 14, police said.His body was found the following day in the hills near a farmhouse, around 45 km from Alwar city. As the body remained unidentified, police initially treated it as unclaimed.During the investigation, police analysed the call detail records (CDR) of Tushar’s mobile phone and identified the friends who were last seen with him. Based on the family’s suspicion, two youths have been detained for questioning.Tushar’s family lodged a missing person’s complaint after he failed to return home. His maternal uncle, Vineet Kumar, said Tushar, who stayed with him in Bhugor for his studies, was a Class 12 student and the only child of his parents.Additional SP Deepak Kumar Sharma said the postmortem revealed that one bullet passed through the boy’s head, while the other remained lodged in his jaw.Police suspect murder and have launched raids to trace the accused. Further investigation is underway.
