Jaipur/Bhilwara: AICC national general secretary and Tonk MLA Sachin Pilot Saturday voiced concerns over the alarming state of unemployment in India, asserting that even highly educated youth are compelled to apply for low-paying jobs.Addressing the “Chhatra-Samvidhan Samvad” programme organised by the NSUI in Jaipur, he highlighted the detrimental impact of repeated paper leaks and examination irregularities on students’ faith in the recruitment system. Pilot stressed that it is “unacceptable at any cost” to jeopardise the future of the youth, calling for a transparent and credible examination process.During his remarks, Pilot pointed out that families spend significant amounts on education in hopes of securing stable careers, only to see their confidence shattered by ongoing controversies, including the NEET paper leak. He alleged these leaks are the result of an organised network, expressing frustration at the govt’s failure to enforce accountability. Moreover, he condemned the BJP-led govt’s tactics of diverting attention from critical issues such as unemployment, inflation, and healthcare.During his visit to Tonk, Pilot also condemned the arrest of activist Sonam Wangchuk, labelling it a sign of the govt’s oppressive stance towards youth protests. He criticised the postponement of local body elections and reiterated that the state govt is afraid of losing public support.
