Udaipur: A man killed his father in the gram panchayat of Vijanwas in Udaipur’s Ghassa area Sunday late night over money dispute. The victim, Babulal Bhil (58) was attacked by a stick and was rushed to the govt hospital where he was declared dead. His son, Kishanlal Bhil (35), is currently absconding.Babulal’s younger brother, Hiralal, who lives in the adjacent house, mentioned in his report that Sunday night, Kishanlal demanded his father to withdraw money from the bank that he received from a recent land sale. Babulal assured him that he would withdraw the funds from the bank the following morning. However, Kishanlal insisted on taking the money that night, which angered Babulal. The argument turned violent as Kishanlal attacked his father with a stick, resulting in severe head injuries. Ghassa SHO Praveen Singh told TOI that the exact amount from the land sale will be determined once the accused is caught.
