Jaipur: In a relief to passengers travelling out of Jaipur during the Diwali rush, traffic police has withdrawn its plan to shift sleeper and other buses from Sindhi Camp to designated locations outside the city. Buses will continue to operate from their usual boarding points at Sindhi Camp, with discussions underway to manage the congestion around the bus stand during the festive season.Additional DCP (Traffic) Hariprasad Somani said the proposal was initially conceived to ease traffic pressure around Sindhi Camp, which witnesses heavy congestion during festivals due to the frequent movement of buses. “It was our thinking that this would help alleviate traffic pressure around Sindhi Camp, but we did not receive cooperation from roadways on the decision,” Somani said.
