Jaipur: Chairing a high-level review meeting, Tuesday, ACS (mines and petroleum) Aparna Arora urged oil companies to deploy advanced technologies to arrest the decline in crude output and improve recovery from existing fields while accelerating exploration in new blocks.Arora said the 9 million tonne Pachpadra refinery has commenced production and can process up to 1.5 million tonnes of crude produced within the state. The govt’s objective is to maximise the refining of Rajasthan’s crude at the state’s own refinery to strengthen the local economy, she added.
