Jaipur: Rajasthan University Monday released PhD interview scores following demands from protesting students over alleged irregularities in the admission process. However, the disclosure raised fresh questions after the Rajasthan University PhD Admission (RUPA) 2025 dashboard displayed apparently incorrect interview dates, including dates from 2022 and 2030, raising concerns over the accuracy of admission-related data uploaded by the university.Postdoctoral fellow Sajjan Saini said, “If the interview dates themselves are incorrect, one can imagine the discrepancies that may have been committed in the entire admission process.”TOI tried to contact RU vice-chancellor Alpana Kateja for her response, but she could not be reached.Students have been demanding admission against vacant PhD seats and a transparent review of the admission process. Saini said that if the university failed to address their concerns, students would launch a major protest at Lok Bhawan.
