Udaipur/Dungarpur: Contrary to former chief minister Ashok Gehlot‘s recent claims about alleged conspiracy within the BJP to replace chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra Friday stated that Sharma-led state govt will complete its five-year tenure, albeit with significant sufferings for the public.Speaking at a Congress workers’ conference in Dungarpur, Dotasra challenged BJP govt to an open debate on development works in the state. “Even combining BJP’s 11.5 years, including Vasundhara Raje’s 10 years and Sharma’s one-and-a-half years, cannot match Congress’ 5-year achievements,” he asserted.Dotasra extended this comparison to the national level, claiming that PM Modi’s 11.5-year tenure falls short of the accomplishments during the Manmohan Singh-led govt. The Congress state chief criticised the current administration for lacking vision and decision-making ability, accusing them of misleading the public with “hollow speeches.”When questioned about agriculture minister Kirori Lal Meena’s allegations regarding nepotism in govt appointments, Dotasra responded that any wrongful appointments should be terminated.
