Udaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 1,452 development works worth Rs 924 crore across seven districts during a one-day visit to Pratapgarh. The projects relate to Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Salumber, Banswara, Pratapgarh and Dungarpur districts.Addressing a public gathering at Dussehra Maidan, Sharma targeted Congress and outlined development work carried out by his govt over two-and-a-half years.“I sometimes mention Congress’ work as well. I tell them that we have done more work in these past two-and-a-half years than what they could not do even in five years,” he said.Sharma arrived at Pratapgarh and visited Deepeshwar Mahadev temple to offer prayers. He reached Dussehra Maidan for the main function, where he inaugurated projects, laid foundation stones and addressed the gathering. After the function, Sharma visited the auditorium at Govt College and interacted with local workers and office-bearers. He later left for Udaipur. In Udaipur, Sharma had a discussion with BJP workers for the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
