BJP gears up for Modi’s Bikaner rally

Jaipur: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Deshnok in Bikaner on May 22 draws near, the BJP intensified its groundwork across western Rajasthan. Top state leaders actively mobilised public support and ensured the event’s grand success, especially in light of India’s decisive military action against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor.State BJP president Madan Rathore, during his visit to Pali Monday, appealed to citizens across party lines to participate in large numbers at the PM’s rally, calling it a moment of national pride. “This address, taking place in a sensitive border district, will draw the nation’s attention. It is our collective duty to ensure its resounding success,” Rathore said.Rathore confirmed that he would stay in the region until May 22 to monitor mobilisation efforts. Meanwhile, Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, who is coordinating preparations for the rally, worked closely with Bikaner BJP leaders to fine-tune the arrangements. Regional ministers, including Jogaram Patel, Sumit Godara, and Avinash Gehlot, also led massive outreach efforts in their respective constituencies to ensure maximum participation.Addressing the media, Rathore lauded the Indian Army’s success in Operation Sindoor, noting that it not only neutralised terrorists but also targeted their training camps and hideouts. “This mission, led by our top leadership, sent a strong message to those who dare to attack the dignity of our sisters,” he said.“When tensions rise between two nations, the entire country must rally behind the leadership. Yet, some opposition voices continue to indulge in fault-finding, which only emboldens our enemies and undermines national unity,” Rathore further said.
