Jaipur: Rajasthan Housing Board’s (RHB) Samriddhi Apartment Scheme secured the prestigious SKOCH Gold Award Saturday. Housing Commissioner Rashmi Sharma received the honour during a summit in New Delhi.“The recognition has reinforced the Board’s credibility among the public,” Sharma said, congratulating her team and reiterating RHB’s commitment to providing affordable housing equipped with modern amenities.A major success of the Samriddhi project was delivering the homes at prices lower than their initial estimates, without compromising on quality. The board developed two categories of flats of 960 sq ft, handed over at Rs 31 lakh (reduced from the estimated Rs 33 lakh), and 1,100 sq ft flats, which were given at Rs 35 lakh, reduced from the estimated Rs 36 lakh.Recently, UDH minister Jhabar Singh Khara distributed allotment letters to 159 beneficiaries of the scheme.This SKOCH Gold Award adds to a winning streak for the RHB, which has collected several accolades over the past two years.
