12 establishments sealed in Kota for violating fire safety norms
KMC sealed coaching Institutes, libraries and shops in Kota Wednesday

Kota: During a fire safety enforcement drive carried out by Kota Municipal Corporation (KMC), Wednesday, two coaching institutes, two libraries, one hostel, a residential tower and six shops were sealed for violating fire safety norms. The drive came as a precautionary measure after the massive fire at a coaching institute in Lucknow.The inspection, aimed at ensuring compliance with mandatory fire safety regulations, was led by Deputy Commissioner (Fire) Rakesh Vyas and Chief Fire Officer Amjad Khan.“During the surprise inspections, officials sealed two coaching institutes on Keshavpura Main Road, two libraries in Jawahar Nagar, six shops in Borkheda-Manpura, and one shop in the Station area for violating fire safety norms,” said Deputy Commissioner (Fire) Rakesh Vyas.KMC has warned that any building found lacking the required fire safety arrangements will face strict action, including sealing of the premises until compliance is ensured.
