Jodhpur: A private security guard has been arrested for allegedly secretly recording a video of a female patient at an MRI centre in Mathuradas Mathur Hospital (MDM), Jodhpur, Monday night. The mobile phone of the accused has been seized, and a forensic examination of the digital evidence is underway.The woman’s family filed a complaint at the police station. SHO (Shastri Nagar) Zulfikar Ali said that the mobile phone belonged to Rahimuddin, who is a private security guard at the hospital.“The accused guard had allegedly turned on the phone and secretly placed it in the changing room beforehand to record a video of the woman”, he said.According to sources, a woman admitted to the neuro ward was sent for an MRI scan Monday night. While she was changing clothes in the changing room before the scan, she noticed a phone placed there in recording mode. She raised an alarm, prompting the staff on duty to rush to the spot. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police outpost located within the hospital premises was informed.tnn
