Bhilwara: On Tuesday, hundreds of villagers from Nasirda reached the Tonk district collectorate office and submitted a memorandum to additional district collector Vinod Meena, urging him to free the village of drug traffickers. The village, despite police running an anti-drug campaign, is becoming a stronghold of smack traffickers.After submitting the memorandum, the villagers reached Tonk SP office and demanded that SP Roshan Meena take action against Nasirda police station in charge and police personnel who were colluding with traffickers and protecting them. The SP assured the villagers and asked them to become partners in the anti-drug campaign. He also shared a WhatsApp number with the villagers and asked them to inform the police if they come across people dealing in drugs.
