Three earthquake tremors hit Pirawa in Jhalawar, prompting a school evacuation.

Kota: Three mild earth tremors struck four to five villages in Nolai Gram Panchayat of Pirawa block in Jhalawar district between 7am and 9.50am Tuesday, causing brief panic.Staff and children evacuated a govt upper primary school, while villagers moved to safe ground during the two-and-a-half-hour spell. Authorities said there were no casualties or major structural damage.The tremors were felt across Nolai, Barkhedi, Khajuri, Napakhedi and Awar villages, with the first shock hitting at 7:15am, followed by a second at 8:20am and a third at 9:50am.No further tremors were reported following the third event.As a precautionary measure, teachers at the govt upper primary school in Nolai evacuated students from classrooms to open playing fields and later school authorities officially declared a holiday for the day.Villagers reported intense shaking that caused immediate chaos, forcing families into open grounds. Minor structural damage was reported in a few residences, with minor cracks reportedly appearing on walls and household utensils falling during the third shock.The local administration and police personnel arrived at the scene shortly after receiving reports.
