Jaipur: A brilliant brace by Thomyo propelled Rajasthan United Football Club (RUFC) to a thumping 5-0 win over Skalzangling FC in the Climate Cup at the Spituk Football Stadium in Leh on Tuesday.At half-time, Jaipur-based RUFC were leading by a couple of goals. RUFC launched a campaign in style by opening their account in the fourth minute through Piyush. After a long break, RUFC made it 2-0 in the 41st minute when Thomyo converted his penalty kick. After the change of ends, RUFC continued their domination and pumped in three more goals to seal the fate of their opponents. Nirmal increased the margin in the 51st minute, while Surendra added one more in the 56th minute. Soon after, Thomyo completed his brace in the 57th minute. After taking a big lead, RUFC continued to dominate and came close to scoring goals on several occasions but couldn’t find the target. RUFC chairman KK Tak was happy with the resounding win and congratulated the entire team for its wonderful performance.
