Jaipur: The state education department is set to launch a blood donation awareness campaign across schools in July.The campaign, part of the Union govt’s nationwide initiative, ‘One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood, Save Lives,’ aims to educate students and teachers about the importance of blood donation, safe donation practices and ways to participate.“The objective of this year’s campaign is to drive sustained growth in regular, voluntary, unpaid blood donations worldwide and support equitable access to safe blood and resilient health systems,” said a senior education official.Activities like voluntary blood donation camps, awareness and outreach programmes, dissemination of campaign messages via various platforms, including social media, print and electronic media, will be conducted.
