Jaipur: More than 10,000 new sellers from Rajasthan joined Amazon’s marketplace over the past year, taking the total seller base from the state to over 1.4 lakh. The majority of the sellers offer products ranging from home décor, wooden furniture and ceramic utensils to spices, namkeens and ghee, said a senior official of the company, while announcing Amazon’s Prime Day sale, scheduled from July 4 to 6. The company said the event will feature over 500 new product launches and discounts across categories including electronics, fashion, home, kitchen and everyday essentials.Amazon has also strengthened its logistics footprint in Rajasthan with two fulfilment centres, 474 delivery hubs, and 106 delivery stations.
