Kota: A 17-year-old boy from Madhya Pradesh who was preparing for NEET-UG in Kota died after falling down stairs from the second floor of his hostel building in Vigyan Nagar police station area Sunday morning, police said.The teenager, a resident of Vidisha in MP, had arrived in Kota for NEET-UG preparations about 15-20 days ago. He had enrolled in a coaching institute and was residing in a hostel room.According to Vigyan Nagar police, the boy slipped and fell down the stairs after coming out of the bathroom. He fell all the way down to the ground floor and suffered critical head injuries.He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment about an hour later, police said.The body has been kept in the mortuary of MBS hospital. The boy’s family members were informed and the postmortem will be conducted after their arrival, police said.
