JAIPUR: A day after a 70-year-old man and his son were found murdered in the backyard of their home in Dausa district, police arrested the son’s wife and her two brothers for the crime. The killings, which took place in Paparda police station area, were reportedly the result of ongoing domestic tensions.The victims, 70-year-old Thansingh Berwa and his 35-year-old son Ghanshyam Berwa, were found dead on the morning of Saturday near Khwarawji village. The bodies were sent for postmortem, and after completing inquest formalities, they were handed over to the family. A formal complaint was later filed at the govt hospital in Dausa, after which a murder case was registered. According to police, Ghanshyam’s wife, Nirmala Berwa, struggled with frequent disputes at home. Fed up with the constant quarrels, she reportedly called her two brothers, Manoj and Pradeep Berwa. The three then allegedly attacked Ghanshyam and Thansingh with sticks, rods, and bricks, killing them on the spot.A special team was formed to trace the suspects. Using technical surveillance, local intelligence, and assistance from the Manpur police, the team tracked down and arrested all three within a day. The accused have been identified as Nirmala Berwa, 30, her brother Manoj Berwa, 32, and younger brother Pradeep Berwa, 26, all residents of Likhli village under Manpur police station.
