Jaipur: A 62-year-old man, who was reported missing by his family, was found dead in Tal Katora under the Nahargarh Road police station area Wednesday. Police said the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem examination and further investigation.The deceased was identified as Manmohan Sharma, a resident of Gangauri Bazaar. According to police, his family lodged a missing person’s report after he left home without informing anyone in the early hours of Wednesday.Police said Sharma had travelled to Delhi Monday and was brought back to Jaipur by relatives at around 3.45am Wednesday. Less than an hour later, at about 4.24am, he again left home without informing his family.CCTV footage showed Sharma walking from Brahmpuri Kharra towards Tal Katora, after which his movements could not be traced.The body was later spotted floating in Tal Katora by a resident, who alerted police. Nahargarh Road police, assisted by an SDRF team, recovered the body from the water.Following the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the relatives. Police said they are investigating all possible angles to ascertain the circumstances leading to the death.
