Jhunjhunu: A 35-year-old woman was found dead inside a trunk at her house in Agwana Khurd village Tuesday, police said.Police have detained her husband on suspicion of murder and launched an investigation. Police said a case was registered based on a complaint lodged by the woman’s relatives alleging murder.Surajgarh SHO Ramsingh Yadav said police reached the house after receiving information that a woman’s body was kept inside a trunk. The deceased was identified as Sulochana, wife of Krishna Kumar Jat. Her body, estimated to be two to three days old, was found with both hands tied.Police said the couple, married since 2009, have a 15-year-old son. Preliminary investigation suggests the two allegedly argued after the husband demanded money to buy alcohol and his wife refused. Investigators suspect the woman was killed following the dispute and her body was concealed inside the trunk.Police said the accused allegedly told their son, who had returned from school and asked about his mother, that she had gone out.After the post-mortem at Surajgarh Govt Hospital, the body was handed over to the family.
