Jaipur: Jaipur Police Commissionerate Tuesday deployed 45 new traffic marshals under the Police Public Participation Programme to cooperate with the traffic officials on duty.In an event held at the Jaipur Commissionerate, all the new marshals were given information about traffic rules and traffic management by the traffic education branch. “The traffic system of Jaipur city can be improved with the cooperation of the general public. These field marshals will assist the on-duty cops by providing information about road accidents, traffic pressure, and waterlogging to the traffic control room,” said deputy commissioner of police (Traffic) Shaheen C.Police commissioner Biju George Joseph and additional commissioner of police (Traffic and Administration) Yogesh Dadhich were also present at the event.Shaheen also interacted with all the traffic officials present at the event to gather information about the problems faced during traffic management.
