Indian junior squash players delivered a stellar performance at the Asian Junior Squash Championships 2025, clinching two gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals on Saturday. The championship, held in the South Korean city of Gimcheon, saw India emerge as the top-performing nation of the tournament.The Indian contingent, trained under the guidance of coach Surbhi Misra from the Rajasthan Squash Academy, showcased remarkable depth and consistency across all age categories. The star performers for India were Anahat Singh and Aryaveer Dewan. Anahat won the Under-19 girls’ title while Aryaveer romped home with the Under-17 boys’ crown.Ayaan Dhanuka won silver in the boys Under-13 while Saanvi K claimed silver in girls’ Under-15.India also secured three bronze medals in the semifinals – Anika Dubey (Girls Under-17); Aryaman Singh (Boys Under-15) and Amarya Bajaj (Boys Under-13).Coach Surbhi Misra praised the team, stating, “Our young Indian squash stars showcased exceptional talent, determination, and skill on the international stage. This is a proud moment for Indian squash.”
