HC stay on removing village from municipality

Jaipur: A single bench of Rajasthan High Court stayed the govt’s notification of March 27, 2025, which removed Todiyan Ka Bas, a revenue village under the Gram Panchayat Lekhdi, from the limits/jurisdiction of Bansur municipality.Hearing the petition filed by Bansi Ram and other residents of the village, it was noted that an earlier notification dated March 24, 2021, legally included Todiyan Ka Bas within the Bansur municipal limits.As per the order uploaded Saturday, the bench of Justice Anil Upman stayed the notification dated March 27, 2025, which removed Todiyan Ka Bas, a revenue village under Gram Panchayat Lekhdi, from the limits/jurisdiction of Bansur Municipality on May 19.
