Jaipur: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Heritage removed encroachments from 45 places across the city Tuesday.“We removed encroachments from several places Tuesday, including Badi Chaupad, Galta Gate, Delhi Bypass, Idgah, Khole Ke Hanumanji, Gurjar Ki Thadi, Ajmer Road, Jacob Road, Banipark, Kishanpol Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupad, Sindhi Camp, and MI Road,” said JMC-H enforcement chief Pushpendra Singh Rathore.During this drive, the corporation squad seized five trucks of goods and issued challans worth Rs 24,000.“Due to such temporary encroachments along the road and the parkota of Walled City, pedestrians are compelled to walk on the roads to avoid encroached pavements. Due to this vehicles move at a slow pace,” said JMC-H mayor Kusum Yadav. Meanwhile the enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority demolished 4 illegal colonies under construction Tuesday. Similarly, in Zone-14, a new illegal colony and in Zone-13, another new illegal colony had been completely demolished.
