Pilani: Birla Balika Vidyapeeth (BBVP), Pilani, emerged champions of the IPSC Pre-Subroto Cup Under-17 Girls Football tournament 2026, held from July 22 to 25, defeating Pinegrove School, Dharampur, 3–0 in a commanding performance in the final.Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar, secured third place with a 1–0 victory over Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior.The tournament was inaugurated by Happy Khichar, Indian women’s team cricketer and Gujarat Giants player, who inspired participants to uphold discipline, perseverance and team spirit.The valedictory ceremony was graced by chief guest Babita Meena, member of the Rajasthan senior women’s cricket team, presented trophies.Among the individual honours, Unnati Chandel (BBVP) was named Player of the Final, Pallavi Pal (BBVP) received the Best Defender Award, Rinyum Dhoka (BBVP) was the Top Scorer, Jannat (Pinegrove School, Dharampur) was adjudged Best Midfielder, Unnati Singh Chandel (BBVP) was declared Most Valuable Player, and Lokesh Kumar Jangid received the Best Referee (Technical Scorer) award.The event was attended by the dignitaries of Birla Education Trust, principals of BET Schools, staff and eminent guests.BBVP will represent IPSC at the prestigious 65th Subroto Cup National Football Tournament.
