Jaipur: A balloon marked with the logo of a Pakistani airline triggered a security alert in Sriganganagar late Wednesday night. The balloon, bearing the words “SGA Pakistan International Airlines” in both Urdu and English, was found in a field in the Padampur region near the Indo-Pak border.The object was discovered by a local farmer, who informed Ghamurwali police. A police team reached the spot and took custody of the balloon. It was sealed and stored at the police station.“We received the information about the balloon around 9 pm and rushed a team there. The team took into custody the airplane-shaped balloon. It was deflated,” said Prathvi Raj Bishnoi, Gharmuwali police station incharge.He added that there was no suspicious device or material attached to the balloon. However, the presence of a Pakistani airline logo prompted the police to inform senior officials and intelligence agencies, who began a probe into the matter.
