Jaipur: The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Thursday recovered two foreign-made 9mm pistols and 36 live cartridges based on information provided by two sharpshooters arrested in Jodhpur on Sept 19, ADG (AGTF) Dinesh MN said.The accused were identified as Jaskaran Singh (23), a resident of Harsingh Rai Nagar in Fazilka, Punjab, and Rajinder Singh (23), a resident of Balluana under Sadar Abohar police station in Fazilka.The weapons were concealed in a cloth bag among dense acacia bushes at an isolated spot about 200 metre off the highway, around 1.5km ahead of Dhola village on Pali-Sirohi route.The recovery included a Turkish-made 9mm pistol marked “FX 9”, with one small and one large magazine. An Austrian-made Glock 9mm pistol, also with one small and one large magazine, was recovered from the same spot. Police also seized 36 live 9mm cartridges.Dinesh said the recovery was made during further investigation into the two accused. Police are questioning them to establish the source of the weapons and their intended use.
