RIICO to pump in Rs 30cr into RVCF

Jaipur: RIICO signed an agreement Monday with Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund’s to pump in an additional Rs 30 crore to its India Growth Fund‑IV, raising its total support to Rs 75 crore.India Growth Fund‑IV, launched with a corpus of Rs 250 crore, is aimed at supporting startups and MSMEs in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had earlier announced that 25 startups would be assisted through the fund this year.The fund will provide capital, guidance, and strategic support to emerging entrepreneurs, helping them expand businesses, create jobs, and foster innovation, said a senior official of RIICO.RVCF’s earlier three funds have backed 44 companies and delivered positive returns to contributors. Success investments include fintech firm Mosambee, acquired by Pine Labs; Wooden Street Furniture, whose stake was sold to WestBridge Capital and Premji Invest; and NPST, listed on the NSE SME exchange. “All three yielded multi‑bagger returns,” said the official.RIICO MD Suresh Kumar Ola said the govt is creating an enabling environment for MSMEs and startups with modern facilities and supportive policies.“RVCF has been a support system for young entrepreneurs over two decades, investing across technology, healthcare, agritech, clean energy, manufacturing, fintech, and digital transformation,” added Ola.
