Jaipur: The National Testing Agency Thursday night declared results for NEET (UG)-2026, in which 11.21 lakh candidates qualified. As per NTA, Uplakshya Goyal with All India Rank 3 is the state topper for Rajasthan. A total of five candidates in the top 20 ranks are from Rajasthan, which include AIR 3, AIR 9 Gaurav Singh, AIR 11 Abhilash, AIR 16 Kartik Chaudhary and AIR 18 Kritik Jain.With a score of 710 out of 720, Bihar boy Ayush Bhalotia, who prepared for the exam in Kota, secured All India Rank 4. From Gaduwas village in Alwar district, Gaurav Singh scored 705 out of 720 and secured All India Rank 9. Singh also prepared for the exam in Kota for the past two years.Speaking to TOI, Singh said, “It was initially very disappointing after the exam was cancelled due to the paper leak, but I maintained my discipline in studies and kept reminding myself that I could not let setbacks affect my preparation. This result has made up for that disappointment.”Singh is now aiming to pursue an MBBS from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. His elder sister, who is already pursuing MBBS, was his inspiration.In a release issued Wednesday night, NTA said that 138 top rankers came from 66 cities across the country. The top 17 rankers who scored more than 705 marks span eight states, namely Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.NTA said that the highest score of 715 out of 720 was obtained jointly by Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana.
