Jaipur: Zinc Football Academy, Udaipur drubbed Royal FC 2-0 on the second day of the first Rajasthan Senior Women’s Football League, organised by the Rajasthan Football Association, at the Rajasthan United Football Club Ground here on Thursday.In the only match played on Thursday, Zinc won 2-0 over Royal FC. For Zinc, jersey number 22 Mona scored in the 64th minute and jersey number 19 Savita added one more in the injury time (90+4 minute). Zinc’s Mona was adjudged as the Player of the Match.Rajasthan Football Association secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat stated that the RFA is organizing a women’s football league for the first time. He added that the Rajasthan Football Association is continuously working to promote football in the state and this league has been started with the aim of increasing women’s participation in football.Teams from the state’s five professional clubs — Zinc Football Academy, Udaipur, Jaipur City Football Club, Jaipur, Royal Football Club, Jaipur, Magan Singh Rajvi Football Academy, Bikaner, and Real Jaipur Football Club, Jaipur — are participating in the competition.Bhairauratan Ojha played the role of match commissioner in the match, while Javed, Pawan, Asif and Nandani took up the responsibility of umpires.
