Ajmer: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) from Jaipur Friday arrested two Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) officials in separate bribery traps in Ajmer and Beawar for allegedly accepting bribes to release lease deeds of industrial land. One of the accused, deputy general manager and unit head Ajay Vishkarma, is due to retire on July 31.Acting on a complaint received by its Jaipur unit, the ACB verified the alleged demand for a bribe before laying traps. Vishkarma, posted in Kishangarh with additional charge of Ajmer, was caught allegedly accepting Rs 50,000 at his office.In a separate operation in Beawar, ACB officials caught Junior Assistant Kamlesh Kumar red-handed while allegedly accepting Rs 35,000 from the complainant.ACB registered cases against both officials under relevant provisions of the anti-corruption law. Officials said searches would be conducted at the residences of the two accused and in bank lockers to ascertain whether they possessed assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.
