Jaipur: A delegation of students, including PhD scholars from Rajasthan University, met Governor Haribhau Bagde Tuesday, alleging irregularities on the campus and seeking his intervention.The delegation submitted a memorandum, claiming that despite being the state’s largest university, several basic amenities remain unavailable. They alleged that the university’s main canteen has remained shut for a long time, while the campus dispensary has been functioning without both male and female allopathic doctors since Dec 20, 2025. They also said students have been unable to avail of the e-rickshaw service within the campus.Sajjan Saini, a post-doctoral fellow and member of the delegation, said, “The Governor has intervened in university matters in the past, prompting the administration to act. We have submitted a memorandum highlighting various issues on the campus and have received a positive assurance from him.”
