Jaipur: Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) commissioner Siddharth Mahajan Friday issued a stern warning to recently transferred officials, saying corruption complaints would invite direct action by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The meeting was attended by tehsildars and officials from the forest and legal depts.Mahajan reiterated JDA’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption and directed officials to ensure all work is carried out strictly in accordance with rules and due process. He said irregularities, negligence and corrupt practices would not be tolerated at any level.“If corruption or serious irregularities come to light at any level, there will be no hesitation in personally lodging a case against the concerned employee with the ACB,” an official present at the meeting quoted the commissioner as saying.Mahajan also directed officials to prioritise public interest and discharge their duties with honesty, accountability and transparency. He added that administrative responsibility across depts would be closely monitored.
