Govt transfers 17 IPS officers, changes SPs in 7 districts

Jaipur: In a major administrative reshuffle in the police department Tuesday, the state govt transferred 17 IPS officers. The reshuffle includes the appointment of one Awaiting Posting Order (APO) officer, additional charge to another senior officer, and replacement of superintendents of police in seven districts — Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Didwana-Kuchaman, Nagaur, Tonk, Bharatpur and Dausa.Additional director general (civil rights) Lata Manoj Kumar has been transferred as ADG, community policing.Senior IPS officer Harendra Kumar Mahawar has been appointed inspector general (IG) of Kota Range, a post that remained vacant for some time. Mahawar was earlier serving in CID-CB. Among other IG-rank officers, KB Vandana, who was awaiting posting orders after completing central deputation, was transferred to the crime branch as IG.Among the major district-level changes, Manish Tripathi has been shifted from SP Chittorgarh to SP ATS Jaipur. Dharmendra Singh, who was serving as SP Bhilwara, has been appointed the new SP of Chittorgarh. Sagar, earlier posted as SP Dausa, will now take charge as SP Bhilwara.SP ATS Gyan Chandra Yadav has been transferred as SP Didwana-Kuchaman, while Richa Tomar has been posted as commandant of the 11th Battalion RAC in Delhi. Rajesh Kumar Meena has been moved from SP Tonk to SP Bharatpur, and Piyush Dixit, who was posted as SP ACB Jaipur in March, has now been appointed SP Dausa.The transfer included Kalu Ram Rawat, who was recently absent from duty for over three months and was issued a recall notice by Police Headquarters, and has now been transferred as IG Telecommunication.Meanwhile, ADG (police headquarters) Hawa Singh Ghumaria has been given additional charge of ADG (civil rights) and Anti-Human Trafficking.
