Jaipur: The Jaipur Chapter of the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) organized a one-day technical workshop and awareness program on Part F (Fire and Life Safety) of the National Building Construction Standards (NBCS)-2026 at the Constitution Club of Rajasthan here on Saturday.On this occasion, the FSAI Jaipur Chapter also celebrated its 10th anniversary. The programme began with a welcome address by Jaipur Chapter President Ganpat Choudhary. He stated that effective implementation of fire and life safety provisions in accordance with the National Building Construction Standards is the need of the hour, and such programmes play a vital role in strengthening a safety culture.Addressing the technical session, Vinod Kapse, keynote speaker and President of the FSAI Mumbai Chapter, provided detailed information on the new provisions included in Part F of NBCS-2026, fire and life safety standards, security systems in buildings, emergency evacuation systems, and practical compliance. He stated that only strict adherence to fire safety standards in modern buildings can ensure the safety of life and property.FSAI National Secretary Ankur Gupta was also present at the event. He provided information about the organization’s activities and efforts being made in the field of fire safety.During the event, Sudhir Mathur, Founder President of the FSAI Jaipur Chapter, welcomed keynote speaker Vinod Kapse.Engineers, architects, builders, fire and safety professionals, government department officials, MEP consultants, system integrators, industry representatives, and students participated in the event.The programme was moderated by Brij M Chandna. Finally, Jaipur Chapter Secretary Ashok Srivastava expressed his gratitude to all the guests, participants, and partner organizations.FSAI Core Committee Member Advocate Lalit Sharma reported that the FSAI Jaipur Chapter celebrated its foundation day in the evening with a cake-cutting ceremony to mark its 10th anniversary. During this, the members, while remembering the achievements of the organization, resolved to make public awareness and technical training in the field of fire and life safety more effective in the future.The presenting sponsor of the programme was Tata Pravesh, while the platinum sponsor was ATVI and the gold sponsors were Newage Fire Protection Industries, Agilon and Digimro. In the program, detailed discussions were also held on the latest technologies and national standards related to fire and life safety.
