Jaipur: A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two children before dying by suicide at a farm in Fatehgarh village of Phalodi district Tuesday.The deceased were identified as Genaram (35), his wife Pushpa (32), daughter Khushboo (13) and son Kishan (10). Police said preliminary investigation indicates Genaram allegedly strangled Pushpa and the two children and later hanged himself. The exact sequence of events will be established after post-mortem examination and forensic analysis.The incident occurred in the Dechu police station area. Police said they received information around 8am about bodies lying in a field, after which officers reached the spot with forensic experts. The bodies of the woman and two children were found on the ground, while Genaram’s body was found hanging nearby.Police said Genaram worked as an agricultural labourer and lived at the farm with his family. Investigators said Pushpa had been unwell for the past few days and relatives had taken her to a local faith healer, believing she was under the influence of supernatural forces. Police said Genaram was reportedly distressed over her prolonged illness, adding that the motive is yet to be established.Police are conducting a thorough forensic investigation to determine the exact circumstances behind these deaths.Forensic teams collected evidence from the site and recorded statements from family members and local residents. Police said further investigation is underway and post-mortem and forensic reports are awaited.
