Jaipur: The Jaipur Club and Jai Club secured their spots in the semi-finals of the badminton team event at the All India Inter-Club Sports Carnival, being held at the Rambagh Golf Club. The teams won their league matches and topped Group B and Group C, respectively.The other teams to qualify for the semi-finals are Sadul Club, Bikaner from Group A and Jayakrishna Club, Alwar from Group D.In snooker, Field Club, Udaipur’s Akash Wadhwani, District Club’s Rahul Devra, and Jaipur Club’s Keshav Mundra and Udit Kasera advanced to the semi-finals of the 6-red event.Rambagh Golf Club’s Shamit and Asis won the pickleball doubles title in the U-35 category, while District Club Pali’s Abhishek and Anish secured the title in the 35 plus section.The squash event saw Field Club’s Vineet Baya and Umed Club’s Praveen Jain facing off in the 55 plus category final, while Jaipur Club’s Samveg Arora and Rambagh Golf Club’s Ankur Shah will battle it out in the 45 plus category final.Tennis teams that made it to the quarterfinals include District Club Pali, Jubilee Club Bikaner, RTA Jodhpur, Sadul Club Bikaner, and Ahmedabad Tennis Foundation.The event is being hosted by Rambagh Golf Club, with Jaipur Club and Jai Club as co-hosts. Finals and the prize distribution function will be held on Sunday.
