Jaipur: Bhuvansh Raj Meena, Rishabh Sankhala, Kaushiki, Dev Soni, Dimpy Sharma and Pratyusha Sharma triumphed in the TTFI-2 Open State-Level Table Tennis Championship 2025 being organised here at Wonkar Table Tennis Academy, Vaishali Nagar.The tournament commenced on January 6, with participation from players across various districts of Rajasthan. Approximately 325 talented players have been competing in the five-day tourney with more than 610 entries.The competition includes events in U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 boys and girls categories, men’s and women’s singles, and veteran age groups ranging from 39 plus to 80 plus.In the initial rounds, players delivered impressive performances, thoroughly entertaining the spectators.In the U-11 boys category, Rishabh Sankhala (Bikaner) claimed the title, while Dhruvan Dangi (Udaipur) finished as the runner-up. Manvik Sharma and Yajat Jha (Jaipur) secured joint third place.In the U-11 girls section, Kaushiki (Tonk) emerged as the winner beating Advika (Jaipur) in the final. Navya, and Mrigya Rajput (Jaipur) shared the third spot.Dev Soni (Jaipur) won the U-13 boys title with an outstanding performance. Rishabh Sankhala finished as runner-up, while Harsh Saini and Dhruvan Dangi secured third place.In the U-13 girls singles, Kaushiki registered a memorable victory to claim first place. Aradhya Saini placed runner-up, while Swarnima Jain and Avika Gupta shared third place.Bhuvansh Raj Meena (Sirohi) clinched the U-15 boys crown with a commendable performance. Harshal Yadav (Tonk) finished runner-up, while Mohit Sankhala and Keshav Sharma claimed third place.In the U-15 girls, Pratyusha Sharma (Jaipur) emerged as the winner defeating Kaushiki. Himanshi Chaudhary and Aarna Singh (Jaipur) shared joint third place.Bhuvansh Raj Meena (Sirohi) trounced Parth Meena (Bikaner) in the U-17 boys group. Yash Thanvi and Tanishkveer Yadav bagged joint third place.In the U-17 girls, Dimpy Sharma (Jaipur) won the title, dismissing Joyee Vijay. Pratyusha Sharma and Swarnim Jain (Jaipur) secured joint third place.Matches in the U-19 and men’s/women’s categories are currently underway, with intense competition being witnessed among the players. According to the organisers, the remaining matches and the prize distribution ceremony will be conducted in the coming days.The objective of the championship is to promote table tennis in the state and prepare young players for national-level competitions.The event witnessed the presence of former international player CA Pramod Patni, Jugal Kishore Rajpurohit, chief referee Rajkamal Sharma, along with organisers Vivekanand Bahuguna, Amit Thanvi, Vaibhav Singhal, Pranay Gupta, Nirmal Chaudhary, Deepak Lakhani, and Navdarshan.
