Jaipur: An Air India aircraft bound for Mumbai was forced to abort its take-off after the ground staff detected a fuel leak at Jaipur International Airport (JIA) on Saturday evening.The flight, scheduled to depart at 7.55pm, was taxiing to the runway when airline staff detected the leak, raised an alarm, and stopped the plane. Passengers were deboarded and taken back to the terminal. “Technical teams tried to repair the leak, but when it could not be resolved, another flight was arranged for the passengers later at night,” an airport official said.All passengers left for Mumbai on a separate aircraft at 11.35pm. Air India and the technical team at the city airport are trying to determine the cause of the fuel leak, the official added.
