Jaipur: Pink City’s tennis prodigy Aaradhya Mishra has created history by winning the All India Tennis Association (AITA) Pro Tennis Under-10 National tournament for the third time in a single calendar year, a rare and phenomenal achievement in Indian junior tennis.In 2025, out of total five AITA U-10 national tournaments, nine-year-old Aaradhya clinched three crowns and finished runner-up in one – securing podium finishes in four AITA tournaments out of five – making her the National champion in the U-10 age category in 2025.In the latest tournament held under the aegis of the AITA here at the Professional Tennis Club, Aaradhya defeated Rishika Gunawat of Jodhpur 2-0 in a one-sided final to grab her year’s third title on Sunday.In the boys category, Chris Reno Raj emerged champion by trouncing Ryan Patel.Aaradhya, a student of St Xavier’s School, C-Scheme, Jaipur, has been praised for her aggressive playing style. Aaradhya credited her success to her father, Rajiv Mishra’s constant guidance, support and encouragement.According to her NIS certified tennis coach Vikram Jangid, Aaradhya’s historic performance not only brings pride to Jaipur but also signals the rise of a promising talent in Indian tennis.
