Ajmer: The Rajasthan Public Services Commission (RPSC) Friday released the proposed calendar for recruitment examinations scheduled in 2026, outlining 16 selection tests across various state departments. The schedule aims to give candidates sufficient lead time to plan their preparations, officials said.According to the commission, the first examination—Deputy Commandant—will be held on Jan 11, with exams continuing through Nov. In addition, RPSC has earmarked five dates between April and Dec for other examinations, the details of which will be announced later, RPSC secretary Ramniwas Mehta said.The commission will conduct two examinations in computer-based mode, leveraging technology to streamline the process. The lecturer (Ayurveda) examination is scheduled for Jan 12, while the assistant electricity inspector examination in the energy department will be held on Feb 1. RPSC has earlier conducted 160 computer-based examinations between 2012 and 2016.RPSC chairman Utkal Ranjan Sahu said the timely release of the calendar would help candidates plan better. He added that the commission adhered fully to the 2025 calendar and would ensure similar compliance in 2026.The selection exams cover departments including Ayurveda, energy, PHED, personnel, veterinary, agriculture, secondary education, JDA, statistics and others.
