Bhilwara: In a drive against noise pollution, Gangapur police seized 15 Bullet motorcycles fitted with modified silencers and took action against their owners under the Motor Vehicles Act. Acting on SP Dharmendra Singh’s directions, the special campaign was conducted under ASP Roshan Lal Patel and SHO Liladhar Malviya. Police also removed silencers on the spot and took note of vehicles displaying caste names, organisation titles or irregular registration numbers. Authorities urged riders to follow MV Act norms to curb violations and ensure safer, quieter roads.
