Jaipur: A 21-year-old married woman, who was preparing for competitive exams, allegedly died by suicide at her rented house in Kalwar area of Jaipur Wednesday.According to police, the woman, identified as Jyoti Yadav, was living with her father, Babu Lal Yadav, in Nari Ka Bas area under the Kalwar police station area. “She was married three years ago to a man identified as Yogesh Yadav. Even after marriage, she was living with her father and preparing for the competition exam.” Police said, the incident took place Wednesday and came to notice when Babulal knocked on the door of the room in which she was living. “After getting no reply, he informed the police. Our team went to the spot, broke the door, and found the woman hanging from the ceiling.” Police said her father maintained that she took breakfast and was looking normal and did not discuss any distress or problem. The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem. “No suicide note was found at the spot. Efforts are being made to ascertain the reasons why she took the extreme step,” police said.
