Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Thursday approved the foreign visit and training of 100 farmers from the state under the Knowledge Enhancement Program. Under the program, they will study advanced agricultural techniques.With this approval, 100 farmers from FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations) will visit the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil. During this exposure visit, farmers will learn about the latest technologies and innovations. The selected farmers will be taken on a 7-day visit in different batches between Nov 2025 and March 2026.“The Knowledge Enhancement Program will be a significant step. Through this, farmers in the state will study advanced latest techniques, which will help them increase their crop production. Additionally, farmers will be able to study the operation of successful agricultural cooperative societies in these four countries, which are organisationally like FPOs,” an official statement said.
