Alwar: A woman and her son lost their lives in a horrific accident attributed to poor road conditions in Bharatpur Saturday. The incident occurred around 7pm in the Udhyog Nagar police station area when a tractor-trolley loaded with fertilizer and seed bags overturned after its wheel became stuck in a pothole.The victims, 23-year-old Mohit and his 45-year-old mother, Sushila Devi, were riding on their motorcycle when the tractor-trolley toppled onto them. Both victims were rushed to RBM Hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival, leaving behind a grieving family, including Mohit’s one-year-old daughter.Witnesses reported that the driver fled the scene, sparking outrage among locals who subsequently blocked the road in protest. Police were searching for the driver and working to restore order. ASI Brijendra Singh highlighted the deplorable state of the road, exacerbated by rainwater-filled potholes. tnn
