Jaipur: Doctors at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital successfully reattached the completely severed hand of a six-year-old boy from Alwar after it was accidentally cut off by a grass-cutting machine.“The incident happened on July 20 at 6pm and the boy was taken to hospital by 9.15pm. Trauma centre doctors immediately began preparations for the complex surgery,” said Dr Pradeep Gupta, HoD (plastic surgery), SMS Hospital. He said the surgery lasted for six hours, and the boy is now healthy and stable. tnn
