A rescue operation was promptly launched, with emergency responders using JCB machinery and receiving assistance from local residents to clear the debris. “We are working diligently to reach the trapped workers but their condition remains unknown at this time,” said Additional SP Rajesh Arya of Shahpura, who is overseeing the rescue efforts. This incident comes just one week after a similar tragic accident in Dadia village of Gudli Gram Panchayat, also in Bhilwara district, where two workers lost their lives in a quarry collapse.
